Obituary of Virginia "Ginny" Ann Grant

Ginny was born on March 11, 1928, in York, Nebraska to Arthur and Neta Woodhead, and died May 2, 2015 in Colorado Springs, Colorado where she was a resident for 57 years. She was a homemaker who volunteered for many years with the Assistance League of Colorado Springs, she served on the Board of the Colorado Springs Day Nursery, loved playing bridge, and participating in bible studies and her book club. She is survived by sons, Mitchell Grant, Earl (Kim) Grant, and TC (Cheryl) Grant; daughters, Jeri Ann (James) Nonko, and Kitty (Rick) McNamara; five grandchildren, Mallory Cullen, Brandon Grant, Austin McNamara, Theron Grant, and Parker Grant; sisters, Maurine Davis and Mary Van Noy. Ginny was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, G.F. "Jerry" Grant; and sons, Thomas Grant and Joseph Grant. Memorial Mass, 10:00AM, Friday, May 8, 2015, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1830 South Corona, Colorado Springs, Colorado.
