Obituary of Ann Stratton Duffy
Ann Duffy passed away in her sleep on May 12. She was born on Coronado Island to Commander Roy B and Elizabeth Pinkerton Stratton and grew up in New Mexico and Southern Colorado. She graduated from St. Scholastica Academy in Canon City, and matriculated at the University of Arizona. Ann moved her family to Colorado Springs in 1972, and forged a successful career as an accountant. She was an avid traveler, bridge player; a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Lt. Col. Thomas Duffy; sister, Sherry; brother, Sandy; and granddaughter, Erin Duffy.She is survived by her children, Michael, Patrick, Timothy and Susan Duffy-Schwall; and grandchildren, Caitlin, Ryne, Lana and Martha.Mass of Christian Burial, 11:00AM, Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at Divine Redeemer Catholic Church 927 North Logan Ave, Colorado Springs, Colorado.
