Obituary of Regina "Reggie" Marie Reed

Regina "Reggie" Marie (Clayton) Reed, 57, died June 8, 2015 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was born in Leadville, Colorado on April 11, 1958.Reggie was a longtime resident of Colorado Springs.Reggie is survived by her husband, Larry Reed; son, Scott (Kiersten) Reed; daughter, Amanda (Gary) Littell; father, Don Clayton; mother, Shirley Clayton; sisters, Linda French and Diana Clayton; grandchildren, Mason Reed, Jessica Daggett, Dylan Reed, Maya Littell, and Gary J Littell; and numerous nieces, nephews and family members whom she adored.Reggie worked as a secretary for various organizations in Colorado Springs including Hewlett-Packard, US Olympic Committee and School District 20. She considered herself a secretary even when the word secretary was no longer in favor and her title was changed to "Administrative Assistant". Reggie liked cars and she and Larry own several. Reggie insisted that, "cars are like shoes, you needed a different car for every occasion."She had many hobbies; she loved visiting with her friends over a glass of wine, taking dance classes with her friends, book club with her friends, going to theatre with her friends and going to sporting events with her friends and family. She loved visiting with her sisters, mom, cousins and all the people she loved over a glass of wine. She loved road trips with her family and husband, amusement parks with family and traveling to warm beaches or beautiful mountains with family and friends. She loved traveling to New Orleans with Larry and friends for music festivals. She loved children. Larry always accused her of starting to practice being a grandmother when she was 20 by borrowing kids to have fun with. Her hobbies were us. She loved us all. She was our family planning executive. Family activities large and small had her stamp on them and we always had a GREAT time.Visitation, 6:00PM-7:00PM, Thursday, June 11, 2015.
