Obituary of Tracy Bigelow

Tracy Bigelow, loving husband, dad and grandpa & uncle, passed away peacefully at his home in Security at the age of 57 on July 25th, 2015, after a 6 year battle with ALS. He was born in Elizabethtown, KY on September 27th, 1957 to Nancy Bigelow. On May 3rd, 1985, he married Mona Manweiler-Williams who brought 2 children to the union to love and help raise. Tracy lived in the Fountain Valley Area for the past 37 years employed as a truck driver until he suffered a career ending back injury in 1994. After his injury, Tracy enjoyed fishing, camping and taking care of his lawn. He also enjoyed traveling with his wife, sister-in-law and mother-in-law, aka his 3 wives. Tracy was passionate about spending time with his family and pestering his grandchildren. He is survived by his mother Nancy La Brot of Elizabethtown, KY; sister Kathy Stewart of Jeffersontown, KY; his best friend and wife of 30 years, Mona Bigelow of Security, daughter Tracy (Robin) Sundling of Colorado Springs, son Brad (Dara) Williams of Jonesboro, AR, grandchildren Justin, Matthew, Bryttaney, Kamryn, Anthony and Rebecca; loving mother-in-law Faye Manweiler of La Junta, CO; sister-in-law Linda (Larry) Cobb of Colorado Springs, CO, brother-in-law Keith (Valerie) Manweiler of La Junta, CO; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law and inspiration Henry Manweiler. During his battle with ALS he was cared for by 3 loving 'peeps' who helped love, care for and make him smile, Mandy, Misty and Dee. Also during this time, his life was improved by the generosity of Carey, Cliff and God's Pantry of Fountain, CO. A Memorial Service with take place on Saturday, August 1, 2015, at 10:00AM at The Springs Funeral Services, 3115 E. Platte Ave, Colorado Springs, CO. Tracy was baptized a Lutheran and services will be officiated by Pastor Rick Miller of La Junta, CO. In lieu of flowers memorials would be appreciated.
