Obituary of Patricia Ann Kautz

Patty Kautz, age 61, passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at her home in Colorado Springs. She worked in quality control for Imaging Systems / Rocky Mountain Resources for many years before she had to retire because of health concerns. She was a remarkable wife, wonderful mother, terrific sister, grandma, great grandma and trusted friend.Patricia Ann Lung was born on March 10, 1954 in San Diego, California to the late Felix William and Lenetta Bell (Tripp) Lung. She married and raised a family.She later married Thomas William Kautz on April 3, 2004 in Las Vegas. They were active in the ministries of First Church of the Nazarene. Patty loved Jesus, her family and especially her grandkids. She also enjoyed accompanying her husband to the racetrack to watch him race cars.She is survived by her husband, Tom Kautz of Colorado Springs; her son: Tony (Kelly) Velasquez of Colorado Springs; her daughter: Nancy (James) Snodgrass of Fountain; four brothers: Jim (Peggy) Lung, Bill Lung, Tom (Tessie) Lung and Wally (Mary) Keller; and four sisters: Judy (Bill) Smith, Kathy Lung, Mary (Dallas) Thompson and Barbara (Steve) Young. She was a loving grandmother to her eight grandchildren. A visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00PM, Sunday, October 25, 2015 at The Springs Funeral Services, 3115 East Platte Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80909. Funeral Service will take place at 11:00AM, Monday, October 26, 2015 at The First Church of the Nazarene, The Stone Chapel, 4120 East Fountain Boulevard, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80916.
