There are few who could so transparently and compellingly share their love of life and fun as Ethan could. I hope that he has found his heaven to be a place where he can feel eternally the way he has made those around him feel: loved, treasured, and full of joy. Although it may not feel like enough, I will cherish the memories that I have with you. To the many that he has left - I hope comfort can be found in knowing that Ethan only needed a short 30 years to spread more kindness and love than many others can manage in a lifetime.

Our thoughts and deepest sympathy to Mike, Denise, Amanda, and the entire family! So very sorry to hear of the loss of Ethan! We lived next door to you in the springs on White Buffalo. I use to ride bikes with Ethan when he was twelve years old and play catch/baseball with him in our cul-de-sac. He was truly adorable then and can't imagine how proud you've been with Ethan as a man. I have know Ethan's parents and Mike's family for over 40 years; the family took Tony and I in as part of their family when we had none in Colorado Springs. I have watch Ethan and Amanda be born, grow up, and become wonderful adults. The only comfort I can offer for this wonderful family is the I love you all and I cannot even imagine your pain. Ethan was a fantastic son, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend. I know the entire family will help each other make it through this, but there will always be a piece missing. Your friends are here to love and support you. I pray that all those who have gone before Ethan will take his hand in Heaven and lead him through to the peace and love he deserves. Ethan will forever be watching over his family with love.

Ethan and I have been friends since childhood. Over the past 20 years, we shared so many great memories. In fact, I have very few stories or memories that do not include Ethan. Growing up we learned everything from skateboarding to girls together. Ethan was always a bright light, that brought smiles and laughter to everyone he interacted with. I remember that as kids everyone in the neighborhood had the same middle parted "skater" haircut, because that was what Ethan had and we all wanted to be cool like him. He came to every event our friends had because he was an amazing friend. He was more family than friend to me. I will always cherish the memories that we have together. I love you Bro, thanks for all the smiles.

I have known Ethan since I was a baby... he was always so kind, always looking to make someone smile. Our families did so much together, and we were always blessed to be around him. Ethan, there are no words to describe how I am feeling since you have left this earth. Your friendship meant the world to me! Over the years we had our moments where we were really close and our moments where we hardly saw each other. But, no matter what was going on in our day to day lives I felt comfort in knowing that I had a true friend like you out there.
