Obituary of Gary Andrew MacPherson

After a long battle with cancer, Mr. Gary Andrew MacPherson died on November 22, 2015 in Colorado Springs, Colorado at the age of 68. Gary is survived by his wife, Charlotte Bruch; his daughter Kelly MacPherson Staat; and his sister Judy MacPherson Schumacher. He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas MacPherson; his mother Marie MacPherson; and his brother Douglas MacPherson..Gary was born on October 21, 1947 in Brooklyn, New York to Thomas and Marie MacPherson. He grew up in a loving home with his sister and brother in Jamesburg, New Jersey. He served in Vietnam from 1968 to 1970. He was honorably discharged and relocated Colorado, where he started a family and a small business.Gary was an accomplished business owner, a dedicated civil servant and a caring father. He liked to bowl and play golf (he even executed a "hole in one.") He loved driving his RV on long road trips with his wife, Charlotte, in search of the perfect Mexican meal.Memorial Service, 2:00PM, Sunday, November 29, 2015, at The Springs Funeral Services, 3115 East Platte Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado, 80909.
