Obituary of Lawrence Leo Schubarth

Lawrence Leo Schubarth, 83, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at his home.Lawrence was born January 17, 1932 in Pomona, California to Leonard and Evelyn (Browning) Schubarth. He passed the GED test and entered the US Air Force at age 17 in 1941. On October 1, 1955 in Raton, New Mexico he married the former Barbara Patterson. Lawrence and Barbara took residence in Colorado Springs, Colorado where they lived together for the next 61 years. Lawrence was an avid fisherman, hunter, and outdoorsman. He also had many abilities to and could repair anything.Lawrence worked for the phone company, Sears Repair, Fannies Tent & Awning, and later worked for himself in the awning and tent business until he retired just a few years ago.Lawrence and Barbara faithfully attended Eastborough Church for many years until poor health kept them at home.
