Obituary of Evelyn Lenora Lorh

Evelyn L. Lohr passed away on December 26. 2015 in Colorado Springs, Colorado, after a short illness. Evelyn was born to Robert M. Blanford and Lois Corinne Thomas on July 15, 1923 in Denver, Colorado. She lived there until 1943 when she married Ralph C. Lohr of Montrose, Colorado.She and Ralph raised a family and ran the Montrose Paint Store until 1973. She was a member of the Rebecca Lodge in Montrose and loved volunteering at the Montrose Pavilion and Heirlooms for Hospice.She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph, her step-son Donald D. Lohr and her son Jon J. Lohr. She is survived by son, R. Robert (Penny) Lohr of Narrowsburg, New York; daughter, Cheryl (Phil) McLellan of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and daughter Tamara (Bill) Bensley of Grand Junction, Colorado, ten grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.Contributions can be made in her memory to Hope West Hospice in MontroseFuneral Home:The Springs Funeral Services3115 East Platte AvenueColorado Springs, , COUS 80909
