Garry was my childhood friend/rival. We had some good times and we always had a somewhat friendly (sometimes) competition when we were kids. Garry always had a smile and a sarcastic remark for me when he won at whatever we were competing in. I have always respected him for his commitment to excellence and his fun-loving attitude. Whatever Garry did, he did it with all his heart and soul. We used to fight when we were kids and I could never take my eyes off of him if I was winning because he was not to be trusted (lol) ! He would try everything in the book to beat me. I loved Garry and I will miss him. Just like all of us Garry succeeded at some things and he failed at some things. But whenever life knocked Garry down he always got back up and gave it all he had. Garry is a winner because he took care of his family and friends and always had the courage to face life on it's terms and never gave up. Rest in peace my brother until we meet again in Paradise !
