Obituary of Ida Eleanore Lundien
Ida Eleanore Lundien passed away at the age of 93. She was a long time resident of Genoa, Colorado where they farmed. In later years, they moved to Fort Morgan where they spent many years. Ida was a fantastic cook and homemaker. She loved to do needlepoint, crochet and knit. She made beautiful doilies and afghans.Ida was born September 6, 1922 and passed away on January 5, 2016. She was a member of the Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer in Fort Morgan. She loved to hunt arrowheads in the sandcreek on their farm in Genoa. In her later years, she also loved to play bingo. Ida is survived by one son and daughter in law: Stanley and Linda Lundien. Two grandchildren: Jamie Lundien and his wife, Joleen; Shannon Koshak and her husband, Mark. Four great-grandchildren: Vincent and Eva Lundien and Markus and Sophia Koshak. She was preceded in death by her parents: Ferdinand and Iola Schoening, her husband, Carl Lundien, her son: Larry Lundien and her sisters; Irene VanAuken and Marybelle Hays. Memorial Service will be held on January 15, 2016 at 10:00AM at the Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer in Fort Morgan.
