Obituary of Mary Alice Ingram
Mary Alice Ingram, age 61, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at a local care center. For many years, she was in housekeeping at the Union Printers Home in Colorado Springs.Mary Alice Ingram was born on February 1, 1954 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Ray Ingram, Sr. and Jessie Smith Ingram. She went to Herndon High School in Belcher, Louisiana and graduated from North Caddo High School in 1973. She entered the Job Corps in Oklahoma City and trained as a CNA. She worked for a brief time at a furniture factory in Guthrie, Oklahoma, then worked in Colorado Springs, Tulsa, Oklahoma and returned to Colorado Springs to her dear friends and co-workers at the Union Printers Home. A place that she called "family."She is survived by her mother: Jessie M. Ingram of Colorado Springs; her three brothers: Ray Ingram, Jr., Tommy L. Ingram and Isaac Ingram. She is also survived by her two sisters: Ella V. McCauley and Dorothy Smith.Mary Alice joins other family in her passing from this world. Her father; Ray Ingram Sr., Gilliam, Louisiana, and her sisters; Daisy Mae Ingram-Franklin, Texarkana, Texas, and Jessie P. Ingram, Shreveport, Louisiana. She was a gentle spirit who loved her family and enjoyed her collection of angels.
