Obituary of Allison "Alli" Rose Marshall

Allison "Alli" Marshall entered this world on May 18, 1987 in Las Vegas, NV to Lori and Ron Parker. Later, Alli included another Father figure, Mike Knudsen, and a new sister Charissa Knudsen into her life. A few years later her sister Michelle Knudsen joined the family. She completed High School at Radford High School. Soon after, she married Christopher Marshall, and although the marriage did not last, Alli's precious daughter Alena Marshall was created from their love.Alli was very smart, resourceful, and caring. She knew she wanted to care for others, so she went back to school to study in the medical field. She used those skills to provide for those who needed her most as a home care provider. Alli believed every human needs to feel special, to feel that they belong as a valued member, to feel appreciated and honored by others. This was true with her patients, her family, and her friends. But Alli found herself in need, when she was diagnosed with cancer. Alli was blessed to be surrounded by these same friends, family members, and her church family - first in San Diego then here in Colorado Springs. Those who knew Alli, knew she was a fighter, and her songs of pain and beauty have filled many people with the incredible joy she had. The Lord gave Alli life, and way to soon that life ended here on Earth. Many of us now have a hole in our heart's that she once filled, but take solace in the fact that Alli has been released from the pain, and is finally at rest in the arms of her Savior. Like her family who still holds her close to their hearts, we ask that you continue to hold her close. As Alli would want, let us find those gifts that make each of us special, the inexpressible, and extraordinary beauty of a simple, caring and strong women who gave from her heart. Our family wishes to thank all of you, especially those that truly touch Alli's life with your love, and those who traveled from so far to honor her life.2 Timothy 4-7: "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith."Funeral Home:The Springs Funeral Services3115 East Platte AvenueColorado Springs, , COUS 80909 Events Visitation Monday, February 22, 2016 2:00PM - 3:00PM Village Seven Church 4040 Nonchalant Circle South Colorado Springs, CO 80917 Phone: (719) 574-6700 Service Monday, February 22, 2016 3:00PM Village Seven Presbyterian Church 4040 South Nonchalant Circle Colorado Springs, CO 80917 Phone: 719-574-6700
