Obituary of Jesse Mikel Higgins

Jesse Higgins, age 13, died at his home on Thursday, February 25, 2016. He was a seventh grade student at Ellicott Middle School and a beloved son, brother, grandson and friend to many.Jesse Mikel Higgins was born on September 4, 2002 in Colorado Springs, Colorado to Heiko J. and Karen J. (Salladay) Higgins. He was active in the youth ministries of Central United Methodist Church and was well liked at Ellicott Middle School. He loved target shooting, camping and dirt bikes.He is survived by his mother, Karen J. Higgins of Ellicott, Colorado; his father, Heiko J. Higgins of Yoder, Colorado; his sister, Morgan and brother-in-law, Anthony Tribuzio of Simla, Colorado; his maternal grandmother, Dora June Salladay of Ellicott, Colorado; and his paternal grandmother, Renate Jones of Fountain, Colorado.
