Obituary of Viola H. Story

Viola (Hayes) Story passed away at her home in Colorado Springs, March 2, 2016. She was 92 years old. She was born in Ozone Tennessee on September 17, 1923. On November 7, 1942, Viola married the love of her life, Carl Story. Viola was a resident of Colorado Springs since 1963. She retired from Colorado College in December 1986, after nearly 23 years, where she was executive assistant to the chief finance officer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl, in June of 2002. Viola is survived by daughters, Sandi (Mike) Hill, Debra Kay, and Karin (Mike) Dearborn; grandchildren, Erin, Michael, David, Josh, and Chance; great-grandchildren, Siarah, Mollie, Jacob, Zoe, and Danger; and a sister, Margaret Martin.Funeral Home:The Springs Funeral Services3115 East Platte AvenueColorado Springs, , COUS 80909
