I was so sorry to hear about Margaret. May the "God of all comfort" clothe you with His tender mercies. I hope that you find peace in your precious memories and in the promise of the resurrection to life eternal. John 11:21-25. Revelation 21:3,4; Acts 24:15. Heartfelt prayers are with you.

I am so sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in the words spoken at Jo 5;28,29 where it tells us that God will remember our dead loved ones and bring them back to earth to enjoy life forever. Soon God will wipe away all tears and death and pain will be no more. Rev 21:3,4 Isa 25:8 Ps 37:11,29. http://tv.jw.org/#en/video/VOD...

My condolences goes out to the family and friends of Margaret Reed. Losing a loved one is never easy. We all want to spend our lives with the ones we love and death gets in the way of that. But what brings me comfort is Acts 24:15 where it says there is going to be a resurrection. So it's reassuring to know that you can see your loved one again. I hope this has comforted you and your family is in my prayers.

I enjoyed reading about your memories. Most I had forgotten about, but thought you might enjoy some of mine. The 1st time we met the 3 of you pulled into my Mom's yard looking for a place to ride horses. You came back the next day & Margaret had fallen off & broken her arm. We had lots of fun times in high school - lots of times getting into trouble. I used to visit Marg in Boulder. She always took me to her favorite restaurant to have dessert - We couldn't afford to eat there. The worst thunderstorm I think I've ever been in was driving from Boulder to Greeley to meet Robert. That was a very scary night! When she & Robert left for Texas, we lost touch for a few years, but renewed our friendship when she moved to Las Animas. While she was living in Las Animas I spent many nights at her place just having fun & visiting - one time having to drive back to Kim in a Spring blizzard in only my shorts & sandals. Luckily I didn't get stuck. She will be missed!

The job Margie took-off from to go to the Pueblo Mall's Grand Opening, was: Republic Bank, bank teller position, including drive-thru, that she held at age 16, through her High-School 'Future Business Leaders of America' (FBLA), program, . .at the same time she sang sacred solos, front stage at a church she'd auditioned for and been selected by, every Sunday, at the age of 16 yo. Republic Bank, was later, Norwest, then, I believe, Wells Fargo, . .located across from the Colorado State Fairground.

I, Margie's mother, forgot to mention in the obituary, that: Margie, and her sister, Beth Reed, were among the Roberta Arwood singers in Pueblo for many years. Margie was the soloist for the Christian Science Church in Pueblo for 5 yrs., when she was just 16, to 21 yo. She travelled with the Pueblo Symphony Chorale to Europe her Senior year of High School at South High, . . and, . . brought back the -best- 8-track tape recordings of German Disco her sister had ever heard , . . Boney M, Rivers of Zion, I Can't Stand the Rain, Brown Girl in the Ring, etc., which, her sister still has. Both girls have perfect recollection of all the best songs through the years, and, could sing them with perfect pitch. Her sister remembers Margie driving fast in her first green Maverick to get to school and Margie's work, Pat Benatar's Fire and Ice, blaring all the way ! What fun ! Her sister also remembers Margie taking-off work at her first job (other than the soloist gig), to, take her to the grand opening of the Pueblo Mall, in '77 ! "I have to take my little sister to the Grand Opening of the Pueblo Mall", she said, to get off work ! The Pueblo Mall Prairie Dog was the mall's mascot, and there, her sister Beth bought a crib for her Baby Alive Doll, . . for $17.00. Thin particle-board and padding, but, priceless, to a little girl, . .to spark the imagination, and furnish dreams.
