Obituary of Flora "Flo" Garcia Rogers

On Wednesday March 16, 2016, Flora passed away at her home in Colorado Springs, CO after a difficult battle with bile duct cancer. Flo was 83 years old.Flo was born August 9, 1932 in Hoehne, CO to Juanita and Pete Abeyta.Flo was diagnosed with cancer in August of 2015; her spirit and strong will enabled her to fight this aggressive cancer for eight months. During this difficult time, as she always did, she made her family her priority, making sure that everyone knew how much she loved them. When she was at her sickest is when she fought her best. Her fighting spirit is what will define her life. She will be missed.She is survived by her husband, Bob Rogers; children, Robert (Donna) Garcia, Darlene (Mel) Cramm, Dean Garcia; sister, Nancy (Larry) Ortivec; brother, Paul (Judy) Abeyta; five grandchildren and ten great-grand children.Visitation, 5PM-8PM, Tuesday, March 22, 2016, The Springs Funeral Services, 3115 E.
