Obituary of Doris Bernadette Duran

At 92 years young, Doris Duran passed away on Monday, March 21, 2016.Everyone who knew Doris would say that she was an intelligent, energetic lady who enjoyed good, lively conversations and was always up to date on the latest news and world events. In many ways she was ahead of her time. Happily she was able to stay independent and in her own home until very recently and loved being in that environment and able to surround herself with all of her beautiful memories.Doris was born in Franklin, New Hampshire and raised in Boston, Massachusetts. She moved to Colorado Springs in 1945 when she married Peter Duran and then made it her lifetime home. She is preceded in death by her husband and one daughter. She is leaves behind a son, two daughters, seven grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren who will miss her dearly.Funeral Service, 10:00AM, Tuesday, March 29, 2016, St. Peter Catholic Church, 55 Jefferson St, Monument, Colorado 80132.
