Obituary of Betty Madrid

Betty Madrid, 80, passed away April 5, 2016 in Colorado Springs. Betty was a Colorado native and longtime Colorado Springs resident. She was a civil service retiree at Fort Carson with 31 years of employment. Mrs. Madrid is survived by her children; Linda Vanderpluym, Patricia (Vic) Sauget, and David Spicer of Columbia, Missouri, seven grandchildren; Dominic Vanderpluym, Danielle Stockwell, David Vanderpluym, Justin (Kacey) Sauget, Julia (Steve) Borchik, Collin Akers, Jesse Randall, and four great grandchildren. Her husband of 35 years, Gilbert Madrid and daughter, Sherri Randall, preceded her in death. Memorial Mass, 11:00AM, Monday April 18, 2016 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1830 South Corona Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado, 80905.
