Obituary of Darlene Anne Friedman
Darlene Anne Friedman, born March 12, 1938 in Hazel Green, Wisconsin. Darlene was a longtime resident of Glendale, Arizona and moved to Colorado in 2005. She was peacefully taken home on Friday, April 15, 2016.Darlene took pride in and enjoyed being a food service manager for over 20 years as well as a home daycare provider to many children whom she loved and called her own. Her years in food service led to her passion in cooking for special events and especially her family. Darlene was known to be an avid collector of recipes from all over the world; she loved to share them with family and friends.She is survived by one son; David (Bev) Friedman of Peoria, Arizona and one daughter, Tami (Walt) Orchowski of Fountain, Colorado; four grandchildren, David (Jess) Friedman, Brandon (Brandie) Friedman, Nicholas (Jamie) Orchowski, Jeni (Zack) McCullough; great-grandchildren, Mikayla, Mason, Brylee, Kaydence, Colton, Alanna, Charlee, Alexa, Brixtyn, Violet; sisters, Carol (Todd) Boyd, Debbie (Neil) Burns, Marty (Al) Flore, Judy (Jerry) Cirou, Sandy Willett, Christy Brown.She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack T. Friedman to whom she was married to for 50 years; son, Richard (Rick) Friedman; father, Cletus (Ruth) Lee and mother, Alice (Norman) Hoff; brother, Chuck Lee.Darlene was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.
