Obituary of Charley Ray Gosnell
Charley Ray Gosnell, age 87, was born in Zincville, Oklahoma, on November 7, 1928. He resided in Colorado Springs, Colorado for the last 36 years, calling it the prettiest place that he had ever seen.Charley retired from the Navy after 21 years of service as a Chief Petty Officer. After retiring, he worked as a Quality Control Inspector with Lockheed Martin.During his free time, he enjoyed aircraft's, John Wayne movies, traveling, and spending time boating with family and friends where he helped others learn to water ski; but most importantly, he loved to spend time with his family whom he dearly loved, and we dearly loved him.He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Mountain Lions Club, and Fountain Valley Investment Club.Charley went to be with the Lord on April 21, 2016. He is survived by his wife, Bernice Gosnell; children, Tim Gosnell and his partner, Melanie, Dianna Hund and husband, Robert, Rex Harvey and his wife, Jackie, Coy Harvey, Max Harvey and his wife, Jennifer, and son-in-law, Rick Ellison. Charley was blessed with 12 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
