Obituary of MSGT. David Stapleton, USAF,

David Stapleton, age 60, passed away on May 3, 2016 at a local hospital following a brief illness. He was an Engineer at Honeywell and retired Master Sergeant with the US Air Force.David Glen Stapleton was born on September 23, 1955 in Greenville, Texas. After High School in Greenville, he joined the Air Force and spent 24 years in service to his country. His assignments included Germany, Honduras, Greenland and various locations in the United States. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and a proud member of Rolling Thunder and the Colorado Patriot Guard. He is survived by his mother: Jo Burnett, formerly of Greenville, Texas and his son: Michael (Lori) Stapleton and his daughter: Michelle Stapleton. He is also survived by his sister: Donna (Henry) Perez of Colorado Springs and Denise (and Forrest) Clearman of Sherman, Texas.David has three grandchildren: Wade, Kira and Charlie and is also survived by his best friend and the mother of his children: Vickie Stapleton of Colorado Springs.
