Obituary of Inabeth Hoskins

She was born Inabeth Rolf in Northwest Missouri, September 27, 1938. Inabeth attended grade school in a one room school house called Hazel Grove Elementary. After graduating high school from Westboro, Inabeth attended Central Missouri State College in Warrensburgh, MO on a music scholarship where she received her Bachelors of Music Education on May 29, 1959. After graduation she began teaching in Brush, CO. She went on to Colorado State College in Greeley, CO to get her Master of Arts in Music Education in 1963. She then moved to Colorado Springs where she taught 5th and 6th grades at South Security Grade School in 1971.While Inabeth was there she became a part of a Christian young adult group where she met Jim. After that they married in 1971 and enjoyed 45 years of marriage. After they were married Jim and Inabeth moved to Rye, CO where their children Eric, Heidi and Lisa were born.In 1981 they moved to Woodland Park. During her lifetime she directed a number of church choirs and sang with the Colorado Springs Chorale, and directed the Woodland Park Community Singers. She was a well loved piano teacher for over 40 years. Inabeth had a great time working as a full time K-5 music teacher at Summit Elementary for many years. She is survived by her husband, Jim Hoskins, her brother, Jim Rolf, her three children Eric Hoskins, Heidi Hoskins and Lisa Fernandez and her five grandchildren.
