Obituary of John Edward Schweedler

John Schweedler, age 73, a resident of Falcon, Colorado died on May 16, 2016 in Colorado Springs. He was a loving husband, son, father, grandfather, brother, and friend to many.John Edward Schweedler was born on March 26, 1943 in Las Vegas, New Mexico. He was raised in New Mexico and graduated from Albuquerque High School in 1961. He proudly served his country in the Navy as a fire Control Technician and was honorably discharge in May of 1965.He was a retired Automotive Technician at Heuberger Motors where he worked for nearly 40 years and then at Highvac Corporation. He enjoyed the outdoors, riding his Honda Gold Wing Motorcycle, fishing, hunting, shooting and woodworking.He was preceded in death by his father Edward Carl Schweedler in 1983.He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Teshia Z. Schweedler, his three children: Julie C. Dornbrack, Janine F. Brown and J. Eric Schweedler. He has seven grandchildren: Hayley Brown, Caleb Brown, Dakota Dornbrack, Duncan Dornbrack, Caitlyn Brown, Jacob Brown and Dylan Dornbrack. Also surviving is his mother: Alpha A Schweedler; two sisters: M. Ann and V. Jean Schweedler and a brother: James C Schweedler.Memorial Services 11:00AM, Saturday, June 4, 2016, Falcon Baptist Church, 11095 Eggar Drive, Falcon, Colorado. Interment will be in MacIntosh, New Mexico.
