Obituary of Cheryle Anita Dorsey
Sherry passed on peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family who were devoted to her during her long illness. Sherry was born January 18, 1949 in Pueblo, Colorado. She attended the University of Southern Colorado's nursing program and at one time was part of a Doctor's team working with Eskimos at Frobisher Bay. She managed and owned restaurants in Denver, and later became a top selling real estate broker in Colorado Springs. Sherry was well known for her kindness, generosity and great sense of humor. She was a creative talented artist and enjoyed traveling, gardening, meeting new people and spending time with her family. In addition to being an incredible wife and mother, Sherry worked tirelessly to help anyone who needed assistance.She was preceded in death by her mother Betty Johnson Novak and her father Lt. Col. Anthony B. Novak. She is survived by her husband of 35 years Michael William Dorsey; son, Michael; sister, Terry (Guy) Richter of San Isabel, Colorado; sister-in-law, Michelle Ferraioli of Lancaster, California; Peggy Johnson of Weatherford, Texas, Barbara Burum of Ft Worth, Texas and numerous cousins.Her loving and beautiful spirit will be greatly missed.
