Obituary of Kay DeVoe
Kay DeVoe, age 72, died unexpectedly on May 25, 2016 at a local hospital. She was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.Kay Livingood was born on October 23, 1943 in Ogden, Utah to Thomas and Hazel (Hill) Livingood. She grew up in Ogden and graduated from Ben Lomond High School there and then attended Weber State College.She married Richard Lovel DeVoe on August 7, 1964 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Together they raised a family in North Ogden for 35 years. They moved to Kingman, Arizona in 2001 and lived there for 10 years, then moved to Colorado Springs in 2011 to be closer to family.Kay was interested in genealogy, reading and sewing, but her greatest love was her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.She is survived by her husband, Richard; her son, Richard (Lora) DeVoe of Big Rapids, Michigan; her daughter, Jodi (Edward) Landfair of Falcon, Colorado; her daughter, Diane DeVoe of Colorado Springs; and her son: Russell (Lauren) DeVoe of Salt Lake City, Utah.
