Obituary of Carol Marie Marinko
Carol Marinko was born in Chicago, Illinois on October 15, 1949 to John and Marie Marinko.Carol moved to Colorado Springs in 1975. She had relocated to this city to be close to friends. She also loved skiing and the mountains. Her family moved to be near her in 1976 and made their home here also.Carol graduated from grade school at Holy Trinity School in Chicago and high school in 1969 at Holy Family Academy. She also spent one year in Junior College in Chicago.Carol worked at American Medical Society for one year. In 1970 she enlisted in the United States Army to serve her country for two years and attained the rank of E-7. Carol separated from the Army to marry Michael Clark; their marriage ended a couple of years later due to irreconcilable differences. She then went to Real Estate school and gained employment as an Escrow Officer for First American Title in Colorado Springs. Carol worked at First American Title until her health failed and had to cease working.Carol is survived by her mother Marie; brother Ronald and his wife Aiko and their children Yoshiko and Patrick; Patrick's wife Cyndi and their children Ethan and Abby; and many cousins in Chicago, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.Carol's Memorial Mass will be at 11:00AM, Friday, June 17, 2016 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 3122 Poinsetta Drive, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80907, where she sang in the choir for 25 years.Carol will be laid to rest in Tacoma, Washington where her mother will be relocating to reside with family.Funeral Home:The Springs Funeral Services3115 East Platte AvenueColorado Springs, , COUS 80909
