Ruben Garcia, Jr.
Ruben Garcia, Jr.

Obituary of Ruben Dario Garcia, Jr.

Ruben was a beloved father and brother. He proudly served his country in the US Navy. He was the son of Maggie and Ruben Garcia who are both in Heaven as well. He worked at Bill's Tool Rental for many years and had completed his medical training to hopefully one day work with disabled veterans through the VA. He showed Navy pride in service in everything he did and was greatly loved by his co-workers and shipmates. Ruben was the eternal beach bum and is now riding the waves in heaven on his perfect longboard and we ask that anyone attending his service dressed in tropical attire and no dark colors. His life will be celebrated as he lived it: casual and beach themed. He is survived by his son, Hobie Garcia; sister, Evelyn Garcia; brother, Alex Montoro; his ex-wife, Zuly Fernandez; and his "Dawg Pound". We ask instead of flowers that you consider a donation to his beloved Wounded Warriors. Please go to https://www.woundedwarriorproject.org/donate.
