Obituary of Gordon Ray Hair

Gordon Ray Hair was born on October 7, 1934 to Porter and Daisy Hair in Charlie, Texas. After graduating from high school he served in the U.S. Army from 1955 to 1958. On July 18, 1959, he married the love of his life, Virginia Henson. They were blessed with two daughters, Lynne (Dan) Vander Ploeg and Elizabeth (Mike) Kooima. Gordon always considered his girls to be two of the greatest gifts in his life. In 1967, the family moved to Denver, Colorado where Gordon eventually established his own successful business in heating and refrigeration. In 1994, he and Virginia moved to Colorado Springs to be near Elizabeth and her family. He passed from this life into eternity with Jesus on August 17, 2016 and leaves behind to carry on his legacy, nine grandchildren, four of whom are married, and two great-granddaughters.Gordon, who never met a stranger, was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
