Obituary of Martin "Marty" Dickson Kuhn

Martin "Marty" Dickson Kuhn, 59, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on August 21, 2016. He was born in Colorado Springs on February 23, 1957 to Robert and Patricia Kuhn.Marty graduated from Widefield High School, received his undergraduate degree from the University of Northern Colorado, and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Oklahoma College of Law. After graduating, he practiced law for over thirty years. He married Teresa on July 30, 1988. Marty was a life-long resident of Widefield and served twenty years on the local school board. He was active in his church and local community. Marty loved playing basketball at the YMCA, playing golf in the Hacker's league, watching the Broncos with his family, and celebrating the recent Super Bowl victory.He is preceded in death by his father, Robert in 2000.He leaves behind to cherish his memory four children, Courtney (Travis) Kennedy, Michael (Jennifer) Kuhn, Michael Garcia, and Renee Garcia. He also leaves behind five precious grandchildren, Kolton, Parker, Benjamin, Ella, and Jackson; his mother, Patricia; brothers, Ken Kuhn and Brad (Marilyn) Kuhn; and a sister, ReAnn Ross. A Celebration of Marty's Life will be held, 3:00PM, Friday, August 26, 2016 at Restoration Church, 9355 Peaceful Valley Road, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80925.
