Obituary of Mary Lou Gibson

Mary Lou Howell Gibson, born February 9, 1931, in Harlingen, Texas, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2016 at her home in Colorado Springs surrounded by her loving family. Mary Lou is survived by her brother, Jack Howell of Round Rock, Texas; daughters, Teresa (Carl) Womble and Robbyn (Jerry) Miller; grandchildren, Chad Braaksma (Erika Matich), Jerome Hundt and Rachel Kaspar; and great-grandson, Jake Braaksma. Most of her career was in the dental field. Mary Lou was married twice in her life. While attending Texas Christian University, she met and later married W. R. Gibson on June 9, 1951. Later she married Frank Emilio. Later in life she had loving relationships with Bob Prueitt and Bernard Lorino. Mary Lou was a fun loving woman with a great sense of humor who will be missed greatly by family and her large circle of devoted friends. She was eighty-five years old.
