Obituary of Robert Wilson McCleary, Jr.

Robert McCleary was born February 19, 1949 in Pueblo, Colorado to Robert and Joy (Curliss) McCleary, Sr. Robert (Bob, Bobby, Bugs) moved to Colorado Springs in 1958. He attended Wasson High School in 1965 and graduated from Mitchell High School in 1967.Bob married his wife, Vicki Young, on August 16, 1969 and were married for forty-seven years. Together, they had a son, Jeff and a daughter, Jamie. They lived in Colorado Springs until 1982 when they moved to Peyton, Colorado. Bob worked in the construction industry as a welder, equipment operator, truck driver and foreman.He is preceded in death by his father, Robert McCleary, Sr.; his step-father, Bob Steele; two sisters, Linda Stowe and Cindy Bollig; and granddaughter, Lily Kay Canty. He is survived by his wife, Vicki; children, Jeff and Jamie; one granddaughter, D.J. Canty; and his mother, Joy Burley.
