Obituary of Dana Lenise Palmer
Dana L. Palmer, age 41, died on September 16, 2016 at her home in Falcon, Colorado after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was a former marketing specialist, a loving wife, mother, community volunteer and an active member of the Rock Family Church in Colorado Springs. Dana Lenise Palmer was born on July 17, 1975 in Arkansas City, Kansas to the late Lon L and Bessie (Jones) Woodard. She grew up in Arkansas City and graduated from high school there in 1993. She then attended and graduated from Washington University. She served in the Kansas Parole Board and worked for Rensenburger Transportation in Overland Park, Kansas. She later worked for Data Corps and APA Automotive Parts. She married Dustin Kent Palmer on November 21, 1998 in Olathe, Kansas. They moved to Colorado Springs in 2009. She is survived by her husband, Dustin; her son, David; her half-sister, Brittnay Woodard; and her two brothers, Douglas and Travis Haynes; her half-brother, Lon L Woodard, Jr.; and her beloved grandmother, Elzeler (Fisher) Jordan. She was preceded in death by her mom; her sister, Tina; and her grandparents.
