Obituary of Kris Ann Glover

Kris Ann Glover, 49, passed away peacefully on October 3, 2016, after a courageous four year battle with lung cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family and friends.Kris was born to Bernard and Agnes Patrick in Denver, Colorado on November 23, 1966. She grew up in Colorado Springs and graduated from St. Mary's High School in 1985.After attending the University of Northern Colorado and working, Kris married, started a family and pursued a career in the catering business. Her children were the love of her life. She devoted every minute of every day to not only her own children, but all children who entered her world. Everyone who knew Kris experienced her warm personality and bright smile. Her kindness and generosity were felt by all.She had a deep love for life. She enjoyed nature immensely and had a great love for animals- especially Lacey and Ziggy, her two dogs who gave her so much comfort. Kris recognized beauty in all things living and her compassion was boundless.Kris spent the last twelve years filling the plates of Phil Long Ford employees. Cooking was her second passion, and to see smiles on the faces of the people she served lit up her day. Kris was also an avid Colorado Rockies fan.Kris is survived by her three children, Amanda (Matt Pyle), AJ, and Alex Glover; her parents, Bernard and Agnes Patrick; sister, Denise Patrick; brother-in-law, Bret Fogle (Tracey Meyer); nephew, Jacob Fogle; niece, Isabel Fogle; Red Glover; and numerous family and friends.Kris will join her brother David Patrick and her sister Kari Lynn Fogle in God's arms.Kris' family would like to thank all those who showered Kris with prayers, love and support. A special thanks to all the doctors, nurses and therapists who helped Kris through her journey.Kris was an incredible mother, daughter, sister, niece, cousin, friend and faithful servant of the Lord. She will be remembered for her generous spirit, compassionate heart, positive attitude and especially for her love of family.In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Kris' memory to the Mt.
