Obituary of Merle Eugene Alley

Merle Eugene Alley left this life on October 5, 2016, to join our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. He will now be with his wife, Donna Doreen Alley once again. Merle was the oldest of four children raised in rural Nebraska. He enlisted in the Army at about the same time he married Donna D. Kortje on July 1, 1951. The family moved to Texas, California, and then Colorado. He was an auto mechanic most of his life and there wasn't a motor he could not fix. Merle was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church of Greater Denver.He was preceded in his death by his wife, Donna and his father, mother, brother and a sister.He has a surviving sister, Lana Fraze. He also left behind his children, Larry (Susan) Alley, Maralee (John) Eskeldson, Rodger (Ruth) Alley, Kathryn Alley-Fuller (Micheal) and Christie Alley-Hendrickson (Paul). He cherished all of his twelve granchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
