Obituary of Gary Roy Dougherty

Gary Roy Dougherty died early Saturday morning, October 15, 2016 in Alamosa, Colorado. He was 59 years old. Gary was born October 1, 1957, in Denver, Colorado. He served in the United States Army until 1975. He was married to Ann Hamlin in 1983 and started a family in New York. Gary loved skiing, playing guitar and construction work.He is preceded in death by parents, Elbert and Elva Dougherty, and his twin brother, Larry.He is survived by his four children, Hannah (Joshua) Stuck, Molly Dougherty, Andrew Dougherty, and Abby Dougherty. Gary is also survived by his brother, Richard Dougherty; his sister, Carol Hayes; his nephew, David Hayes; and a friend, Cindy Roberts.
