Obituary of CMSGT Rodney Morgan Marshall, USAF,

Rodney M. Marshall, age 85, died at his daughter's home in Fountain, Colorado on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 with his family at his side. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He had retired from the U.S. Air Force after twenty-three years of service to his country in the Radar Field, and then retired from his second career as a expert plumber.Rodney Morgan Marshall was born on May 16, 1931 in Stowe, Vermont to the late Louis and Martha (Raymo) Marshall. He was a 1949 graduate of Stowe High School and then entered the Air Force. He became a Chief Master Sergeant before retiring. He married Constance DuBois in 1955 in Manchester, New Hampshire. Together they raised a family. He later married Karen Scott in 1974 in Colorado Springs. Karen currently resides in Florida.Rodney enjoyed watching the Tampa Bay Rays, hunting, building birdhouses, taking walks, working on his yard, and fishing on his boat in the Gulf of Mexico.He is survived by his wife, Karen; his five wonderful daughters, Lynn Thomas, Denise (Shawn) Morris, Robin (Joe) Daigneault, Lisa (Gerard) Daigneault, and Laura Cristerna; his ten grandchildren; and his eight great-grandchildren.A private celebration of Rodney's life will be held at his daughter's home. He will be dearly missed.
