Obituary of Henry Dixon

Henry was born and raised in Brewton, Alabama. He graduated from T.R. Miller High School in 1976, and soon after joined the U.S. Army. He served as a combat engineer for the next four years. He was stationed in Colorado Springs, Colorado and remained there to call it home for the rest of his life.While in the Army, he had two daughters, Comekia of Brewton, Alabama and Denise of Colorado Springs, Colorado. In 1986, he met the love of his life, Jackie, with whom he married and had two daughters, Kimberly and Kasey.His family continued to grow as Denise gave him four wonderful grandchildren; Kiara, 17, Khalil, 12, and twins, Samarra and Samorah, 9, and Kimberly just had his youngest grandchild six months ago, Brandon, who was Papa Hank's Little Man. Family was everything to Hank, and he was happiest when he could spend time with them.Over the next several years, he worked for Digital Corp., Quantum, and Atmel Corp. He was ultimately employed by Walmart in 2002. He worked at the Walmart in Fountain, Falcon, and finally at the Walmart Market on South Academy Boulevard. A blood clot caused cardiac arrest and took his life, while at work.Hank had a strong faith on God and a great love of life!
