Obituary of Annette Judith Larsen
Annette Larsen, 64, went home to be with the Lord on November 17, 2016 in Colorado Springs. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many.Annette was born on September 27, 1952 to Howard and Eva (Johansen) Anderson in Verdun, France. Her father was in the military, so she moved many times. She graduated from La Quinta High School in Orange County, California.She married her best friend and constant companion, Bruce Larsen, on December 18, 1971 in Anaheim, California. They moved to Colorado Springs in 1973 where they had their son, Erik, and made a loving home. She graduated from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs with bachelor's degrees in geography and communications.Annette loved being on the water, whether it was scuba diving, boating, jet skiing, or spending time on the beach. She and Bruce loved to travel and enjoyed many trips to the Caribbean, Hawaii, Europe, and Australia. She was active in the Porsche Club of America.She was loved by all. She always had a smile on her face. God gave her a double portion of joy, and she lit up every room she entered. She never complained. She was patient and kind and forgiving. She gave more than she was given. Annette is survived by her husband, Bruce; her son, Erik (Katrina); her granddaughters, Lena, Anja, and Lilia of Colorado Springs, Colorado; her brother, Don (Jeri) Anderson of Taylor, Arizona; and her mother-in-law, Ulla-Britta Larsen of Greensboro, North Carolina.A Celebration of Annette's Life will be held, 10:00AM, Monday, December 5, 2016 at Woodmen Valley Chapel, Rockrimmon Campus, 290 East Woodmen Road, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80919.Memorials may be made in Annette's memory to CURE International.Funeral Home:The Springs Funeral Services3115 East Platte AvenueColorado Springs, , COUS 80909
