Obituary of Janet Kay Bohren

Jan went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 19, 2015. She was born on May 27, 1938 to Joe and Louise Bohren in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. In 1958 the family moved to Colorado Springs where Jan graduated from Blair Business College. For over 35 years she was a medical transcriptionist at Penrose Hospital. Jan was an avid tennis fan and loved to knit and travel, especially to Disney World. She attended Fellowship Bible Church, participated in several Bible studies, and enjoyed her friends and activities with Alpha Iota Sorority. Jan was an extremely generous, kind, and outgoing person. She was friendly to everyone she met and always had a cheerful spirit. Jan is survived by her close friends, Bill and Linda Rounsavell; their children Brad (Amy) Rounsavell and Alison Williams; their grandchildren Owen Rounsavell, Katy Rounsavell and Lincoln Williams, whom she loved as her own. Jan was very dear and special part of the family.
