Obituary of Allan Ashby "Litch" Litchfield

Allan "Litch" passed away peacefully after an eleven-year courageous battle with a rare brain disease. He was a lifelong son of Colorado Springs.He is survived by his wife, Margaret of forty-two years, and his sons, Rex and Rod. Allan had three grandchildren, Kristi, Megan, and Sara, and one great-grandson, Jordan.Allan retired in 1985 after thirty-two years as Maintenance Superintendent of the City of Colorado Springs Utilities Power Plants. He was stationed in Japan during the American occupation and the Korean War as a Naval Physician's Assistant. He taught his sons the love of nature, the joy of fly fishing, camping and motorcycling.
