Obituary of Karen Marie Regennitter

Karen was born on November 15, 1942, in Cushing, Iowa to Roy and Leora Frahm. On February 19, 1962, she was united in marriage to Vern Regennitter. Karen enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, reading, arts and crafts, hosting celebrations, and cheering on her grandchildren playing sports. Karen passed away on January 11, 2017, in Colorado Springs, CO, at the age of 74.She is survived by her husband, Vern; her sons, Robbie (Beth) Regennitter and Michael (Lisa) Regennitter; grandchildren, Cameron, Kirsten, Zachary, Stephanie, and Christine; her brother and sister-in-law, Melvin and Carolyn Frahm of Danbury, Iowa; sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Gene Zahnley of Correctionville, Iowa; extended family, Aric, Holly, Aria, and Madison Hanson; as well as her great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.She is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Leora Frahm, and son, David Regennitter.Karen's family is deeply grateful for your presence with them and the many gestures of kindness as they mourn their loss.Memorial Service, 11:00AM, Friday, January 20, 2017 at Black Forest Lutheran Church, 12455 Black Forest Road, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80908.
