Obituary of Bobbie Louise Williams

Bobbie Louise Williams was born January 16, 1961 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to S.A. Williams Jr. (Junior) and Mary Ruth Williams Smithey. She passed away on January 26, 2017 in Colorado Springs, Colorado surrounded by her family.She graduated Chapel Academy with honors in 1979. She started her medical career at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff, Arkansas as an EKG/Echo technician. She went on to become a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in Houston, Texas in 1988.Her career in the medical field lasted 30 plus years; she did vascular studies for Colorado Springs Vascular and traveled in the United States with Hewlett Packard as a Vascular Representative. She also traveled many years as an Agency Vascular Tech.She fought a long battle with cancer that started in 2009.She loved Colorado Springs including her beloved Denver Broncos, having season passes.She loved camping, horseback riding, and had a vast collection of horse figurines and Broncos memorabilia throughout her home.Bobbie was preceded in death by her father, S.A. Williams Jr. She is survived by her husband, Rex Lemaster; her mother, Mary Ruth Smithey and stepfather, Thomas Smithey of Weatherford, Texas; a brother, Robert Williams of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; a sister, Susan McCurdy and husband, Mike, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas.
