Obituary of Michael Shepard Krager

Michael S. Krager passed away Monday, February 20, 2017 at his home in Colorado Springs. He was born on October 26, 1941 in Missouri, but was raised in Redlands, California. He moved to Colorado Springs in 1968. Mike was a union carpenter by trade. After owning his own company, Colorado Stud and Drywall, he worked for HubCon, GE Johnson, and Art Klein Construction in Colorado Springs.Mike was preceded in death by his first wife, Bonetta "Neta" Krager, in 1996; his two sisters, Doris Jean Niksick and Marylou Backner of California; and one brother, Clyde Krager of Missouri.Mike is survived by his wife Norma, whom he married in 1997; his children, Debbie Combs, Barbara Vigil and husband, Jim, Sandra Vigil and husband, Mike, and David Krager and his wife, Cheryl; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind his children by marriage, Mike Patterson of Utah, Wendy Cohen and Stacy Evans of Ft.
