Words can never express my love for this lady. For me, she was an amazing mother-in- law who has been a deep part of my life for the last 30 years. Phyllis, Mom-mom, Nanny and even Swoozie had a love for our country. She was a wife of a Veteran Sailor (Ike Love) who served in harm's way, she lived through the sacrifices a military spouse endures. After her husband passed away, she stayed active with Veterans by being an active member of the VFW. This lady loved life, she loved watching dolphins, riding motorcycles, reading a good book, Snickers bars, Chesapeake seafood, football (Redskins) and an ice cold beer didn't hurt either. She had tremendous love for her parents, sisters and brother, her children, grandkids and great-grandkids. She taught all of us so much and we will forever be in her debt. Thank you Phyllis for your love, your beautiful daughter and so much more....you will forever be in our hearts.

The old adage that she never met a stranger was never more true than with her. She packed a lot of living in her days on Earth, she was always up for new adventure and was open to change, she even liked the New Orleans Saints and Florida Gators. My life was richer having her in it. She was very loving and had the capacity to forgive the ones who had done her wrong. She will forever be in my heart and on my mind

Praying for you and your family in this very difficult loss. Even though I did not know her well, the times I was able to be around her it was obvious that she loved life and her family and friends. Loved seeing her and Edith together with a lifelong friendship. So thankful I was able to meet you through Theresa and Angela. You will be in my thoughts~

Aunt Phyllis was my one and only aunt. She was a wonderful and loving person. I will miss her so much. I know her and mom (Thelma & Louise) are watching over us. I loved her so much. I will never forget all our times together.

I think back to my younger year how Phyllis and I would road trip everywhere. I remember people calling us Gypsies. We always had fun. We even got to be roommates for a time. She was a very special person and I am so blessed I got to call her family. I will miss you. You and mom don't cause to much trouble up there. The family is in my continued thoughts and prayers. Love you guys.
