Hunter Michael Van Kooten, 17, of Monument, Colorado, died on April 22, 2017 in Peyton, Colorado. He was a student at Lewis-Palmer High School.He was born on September 12, 1999 to Brent and Robyn York in Stuttgart, Germany. On December 11, 2008, he was adopted by Sherwin Van Kooten.Hunter enjoyed archery, hunting, fishing, and animals. He always had a smile on his face and had the most gentle soul.
