Obituary of Rocco Rosario Muzzipapa, Sr.

Rocco R. Muzzipapa, 91 of Colorado Springs, Colorado, died on May 7, 2017 at the Union Printers Home. He was member of Divine Redeemer Catholic Church.Rocco was born in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey on July 25, 1925 to Rosario Ross and Katherine Lucy (Santoro) Muzzipapa. He was a veteran of World War II.As strong-willed as he was kind, Rocco was a man of simplicity and true honor who remained devoted to his faith until the end. He was filled with generosity and charity on top of wit and wisdom, which so many cherished.He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Eleanor E. Muzzipapa.Rocco is survived by his children, Rocco R., Jr., John A., Stephen S., Joseph W., Anne I., and Christina M. Muzzipapa; his sister, Rosemarie Muzzipapa-Mapp; grandchildren, Nathaniel J. (Lisa), Eleanor E., and Gina D. Muzzipapa, and Annie (John) Orleans; great-grandchildren, Matthew R. and Heather N.
