Herbert Lee Jorstad, 70, died on June 17, 2017, in Colorado Springs, Colorado.He was born May 3, 1947, in Saint Paul, Minnesota to Melvin Elwood and Dorothy Leah (Phinney) Jorstad.Herbert was a military historian and writer, and a longtime Colorado Springs resident.He is survived by a sister, Augusta "Dustie" (Kevin) Flynn; seven nieces and nephews; and many cousins.
