Dorothy Ruth Thurston, 90, died on June 18, 2017 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.She was born on October 16, 1926 in McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania to Clarence and Ruth (Petrie) Wiser.Dorothy worked as an executive secretary and was a longtime Colorado Springs resident. She is preceded in death by her husband, Julian Dan Thurston.Dorothy is survived by her children, Danny Thurston, Danette Thurston, Linda Carpenter, Janie Lembke, Tim Thurston, and Donna Thurston; her fourteen grandchildren; and her thirty-three great-grandchildren.Visitation, 2:00PM-3:00PM, followed by a Funeral Service at 3:00PM at Ogle and Paul R.
