Obituary of Nancy Lou Bramley
Nancy Bramley, 77, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, peacefully passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2017, surrounded by the presence of her loving family.Nancy was born April 12, 1940 in North Canton, Ohio to Leland and Dorothy Prince. She was one of five wonderful children. Nancy was married to her only true love, Bill. They met while attending Business College in the break room between classes through one of Bill’s friends when she caught his eye at the vending machine. Once they were introduced, Bill took her on their first date on August 8, 1958 to ride a merry-go-round, which was the first ride they shared, followed by the continued ride of their long, loving life together. They were married exactly a year later on August 8, 1959. They were blessed with three wonderful daughters, and resided in Colorado Springs, Colorado.Nancy was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, crafts, reading, doing puzzles, playing games, traveling, RV camping, meeting with the ladies in her tea group, and just plain having fun no matter what! Nancy attended Woodmen Valley Chapel - Woodmen Heights Campus in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Calvary Baptist in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Her favorite verse was Isaiah 55:12: “For you shall go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and the hills before you shall break forth into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.”Nancy is survived by her husband, Bill Bramley; their daughters, Michele Hopkins of Colorado Springs, Colorado and her husband, Ed, Karen Barger of Colorado Springs, Colorado and her husband, Chuck and Missy Parker of Port Murray, New Jersey; a brother, Bud Prince; and a sister, Marilyn Riotto. She has three grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, and Aaron Hopkins; and three great-grandchildren, Aidan, Liam, and Michaela Hopkins.Nancy will be missed dearly by her family and friends. Her spirit, love, and deep faith will live on through all who knew her.Nancy’s family would like to express their deep gratitude for all the many thoughts, prayers and acts of kindness received not only through her passing, but throughout the years.A Memorial Service will be held, 10:30AM, Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at Woodmen Valley Chapel - Woodmen Heights Campus, 8292 Woodmen Valley View, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80908.In lieu of flowers, the Bramley family would appreciate memorial donations in memory of Nancy Bramley to either KTLF Legacy Light Praise or a charity of your choice.
